Art and mindfulness

One trend in the publishing industry that we are unable to keep up with is colouring books. I bought one for myself a while back, and find myself every now and then quietly colouring in, enjoying the quietness, with the only worry being what colour I will choose next. Colouring books for adults have originated from the current interest in Mindfulness, and even though we can't cater for the colouring-in enthusiast we can supply mindfulness for every occasion.

If you enjoy colouring-in you may also enjoy Zentagles (see Rachel's 2013 post on zentangling):

Zentangles are a new trend in the drawing and paper arts world. The concept was started by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas as a way to practice focus and meditation through drawing, by using repetitive lines, marks, circles, and shapes. Each mark is called a "tangle," and you combine various tangles into patterns to create "tiles" or small square drawings
