Waitangi Day - Thursday 6 February

All libraries are closed on Thursday 6 February for Waitangi Day.

Note: There will be a catalogue and eResources outage on Waitangi Day from 9am to 5pm.

Get up-to-date on South Library

South Library will close for good at 4pm on Sunday 9 February 2025.

The South Mobile van service will start on Monday 10 February 2025.

The temporary library, South Colombo, will open at The Colombo on Monday 24 February 2025.

The new Ōmōkihi South Library and Customer Service Hub is scheduled to open in December 2026.
