Are you looking for a place to study for the 2019 NCEA exams? The following spaces in Tūranga have been booked for you to study, discuss, and prepare.
We have noticed that a lot of the use of the Taupuni Oro/Ataata – Audio/Video Studio is for vocal recording. We are happy that so many of you are enjoying this special part of our library. We have also noticed than not many of our users know about equalization, and what it does for the recorded sound.
Tūranga opened on a rather nippy Friday 12 October 2018. Since that first day, we have welcomed more than 1,026,403 people to our five-storey library, handily located in Cathedral Square.
The Festival of Adult Learning Ahurei Ākonga is on from Monday 2 September to Sunday 8 September 2019. The Festival (formerly Adult Learners' Week/He Tangata Mātauranga) is a UNESCO initiative supported by the Tertiary Education Commission, and by adult and community education providers. It incorporates International Literacy Day on 8 September each year.
We are thrilled to present Tūranga through the eyes of children. This exhibition is currently running in Tūranga in the Exhibition Space outside Tautoru / TSB Space, Hapori | Community, Level 1 unti Wednesday 3 July. It celebrates Fendalton Open Air School's learning about photography.
