Welcome to our Heritage newsletter.

What's new - Canterbury Stories

A newly published collection is up on Canterbury Stories – the Clarence Walker collection which covers life in 1930s rural Canterbury, as well as photographs from Clarence’s service with the Royal New Zealand Navy in the Pacific Theatre. Clarence was in Tokyo when the Empire of Japan officially surrendered to the Allies.

We also have newly donated collections from the Canterbury Somali Association and the Papanui Heritage Group.
