Ngaio Marsh Award for Best Crime Novel

The winner for the best New Zealand crime for 2025 has been announced. 

This year's best crime, mystery, or thriller novel written by a New Zealander is Ritual of Fire by D. V. Bishop. It is the third book in his Cesare Aldo series of historical thrillers set in Renaissance Florence and Italy.
