I am a big fan of The Five, in which Hallie Rubenhold tells the story of the women who were killed by Jack the Ripper, and her book on Harris's List and the ladies of Covent Garden. Her new book out in April is "a feminist retelling of the historical true-crime story of infamous wife-murderer Dr Crippen in Edwardian England, brought to justice by an extraordinary group of music hall women".
