New and Interesting

The Science of Racism by Keon West, read by Keon West [BorrowBox]

"In the efflorescence of books about racism over the past few years, there have been some well-meaning but stodgy tomes. West, in contrast, has a featherlight touch. It is quite a feat to pull off a densely informative book about a horrible subject that also manages to be charismatic and funny. " Farrah Jarral, The Guardian.

Sonny Boy by Al Pacino, read by Al Pacino [Libby]

Al Pacino reading his own life story will be one to savour. His memoir is full of rich and honest detail, and he gets into the real meat of being an actor.

Witchcraft for Wayward Girls by Grady Hendrix, read by Hillary Huber, Leslie Howard, and Sara Morsey [BorrowBox]

Grady Hendrix's horrors are addictive, and they work very well as audiobooks (I should know, I've listed to ALL of them). His latest is a feminist horror set in a maternity home in the 1970s, and pregnant 15-year-old Fern meets a librarian who gives her an occult book about witchcraft, and power is in the hands of the girls for the first time in their lives.
