Library Book Sales
Pop-Up Book Sale at Bishopdale
Our first new pop-up Book Sale is taking place at Ōrauwhata: Bishopdale Community Centre hall.
It is on:
- Friday 11 September 12noon to 5pm (Magazines and Children's books)
- Saturday 12 September 10am to 2pm (Adult Fiction and Non-fiction)
Pay by EFT-POS or credit card only. Prices:
- Fiction and Non-fiction $3
- Children's books are $1
- Magazines are 20 cents each (5 for $1)
- Premium books (including books on art, landscape, gardening) at marked prices

Book Sale changes
Say goodbye to our big annual Book Sale at Pioneer Centre, and Kia ora to our new smaller Book Sales! You'll be able to bag a bargain at different parts of town, as well as regular book sales at your local library. We want to make Book Sales cheaper to run and more accessible. You'll have more opportunities to bag a bargain, wherever you live.
