Culture Galore is an outdoor multicultural festival. It was on Saturday 23 February 2019 at Ray Blank Park, 46 Maidstone Road, Ilam from 12noon to 4pm.

About the festival
Culture Galore celebrates our city’s diversity with food, art, crafts and music and dance performances from more than 30 cultures who call Christchurch home.
Culture Galore is supported by the Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood and Halswell-Hornby-Riccarton Community Boards.
Performances and activities
Stage performances range from Japanese drummers to colourful traditional dances and songs from Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Poland, Ireland, China, Fiji, Russia, Cambodia, Bhutan and many more countries.
There is also a range of have a go activities for the whole family such as: stone carving, flax weaving, face painting, archery, bouncy castles, police speed radar, henna tattoos and more. You can also sample some of the appetising ethnic cuisines from one of the many food stalls.
Entry and activities are free. but t there is a cost for food and craft items.
