Passengers’ contract ticket issued to Alfred and Eliza Rump to sail on the Merope, 1870

Alfred Vernard Rump and his wife Eliza, née Skipper, came out to Christchurch on the Merope, which sailed in July 1870. In Christchurch Mr. Rump became a butcher, and the couple had several children.
