Getting started on Beamafilm

Beamafilm is a streaming platform that has a curated collection of international movies and documentaries, with a strong Australasian focus. They have over 800 movies to choose from and new titles are added regularly.

Use Beamafilm now

Beamafilm is available to all Christchurch City Libraries members. Just login with your library card then create a Beamafilm account to start watching movies. This is an all you can watch streaming service. No limits.

Signing up to Beamafilm

Go to the Beamafilms website (make sure it says Christchurch City Libraries)
Enter your Library card number.
Create your Beamafilm account by filling in your name, email and password.
Note: Please do not click the Facebook or Google buttons to create an account. Using your Facebook or Google login is not yet available on Beamafilm.
Login with email address and password.
Browse films and start streaming.
