Library, Council Customer Services, and NZ Post services at Little River

Little River Library and Customer Service Hub has been closed for assessment and repairs following recent weather events. Here is the latest information to help you access library services.

Holds

If you have library books on hold, and you normally choose to pick them up at Little River, we will send them to Te Hāpua: Halswell Centre for you to collect. This should be on the notification you receive when your hold is available. 

New holds

If you are putting items on hold, you can choose an alternative pickup location.


Mobile Library

There will be a mobile library service visiting Little River. You can visit to borrow items. Please contact us if you want to pick up your holds from the Mobile Library. 

NZ Post and Council Customer Services will also be provided from the Mobile Library while repair work is completed in the Customer Service area.

Timetable for Mobile Library visits

The Mobile library will be visiting at the following times:

  • Friday 6 March 10.30am to 1pm
  • Monday 9 March 10.30am to 1pm
  • Friday 13 March 10.30am to 1pm
  • Monday 16 March 10.30am to 1pm
  • Friday 20 March 10.30am to 1pm

The Mobile Library will park over the road from the library in the playground area.
