Library research services

If you are in a library, the quickest way to get research help is to ask a librarian at one of our information desks. Most questions will be answered immediately but more involved research questions may be referred to a subject specialist.

Other smart ways you can access librarians’ expertise include:

  • By telephone — many enquiries can be answered directly over the phone,
  • LiveOnline — an interactive session with a librarian live over the internet,
  • Book a librarian — book a free individual 30 minute session with a librarian.

If you would like a librarian to do some research for you, let us know.
We will get back to you within three working days with an update.
Research charges may apply, but we will check with you first.
