Art at New Brighton Library

Carved and painted by a whakairo class at Ngā Hau e Whā National Marae, under the guidance of Hona Taiapa. The artist Tania Te Moana drew on local geographical and botanical surroundings for her work. It depicts Kahukura, the rainbow god.
