Normal service has resumed after our server migration.

Server Migration - online service restriction 5 to 9 December.

Christchurch City Libraries has now carried out the necessary upgrades and maintenance of our computer system. Any additional updates will be posted to our website.

Outage message

Christchurch City Libraries will have reduced services next week. We are carrying out necessary upgrades and maintenance of our computer system from 8pm Monday 5 December until approximately noon Friday 9 December.

You will still be able to:

  • Borrow and return items
  • Use wifi and free internet
  • Access eResources
  • Pay library fees and charges.

You will be unable to:

  • Log into My Account via the catalogue
  • Place holds
  • Access real time information about availability of resources via the catalogue
  • Use the Papers index and Te Kerēme.

No library notices will be sent during the outage.

Library staff (including our phone service) will not be able to place holds, update customer information or create/reset PINs (passwords).

Outage notices and status updates will be posted to our website.
