Join us for an exciting nine-week Student Workplace Experience for Year 11-13 students
Throughout this programme, you’ll gain practical hands-on experience to learn and develop important skills, make new connections, and discover the many different career opportunities with the library.
Over a term you will spend two hours a week with your Library Buddy learning the basics of library work:
- Introducing the library to new members
- Finding and recommending books
- Looking after library materials
- Planning library activities
- Promoting library resources
- And more!

Please note: This programme runs in Term 2 and Term 3 only.
The Term 3 programme runs from the week of Monday 14 July to the week of Monday 15 September 2025.
