Welcome to our newly redeveloped website, on behalf of all of us here at Christchurch City Libraries.

This redesign brings you a better, seamless online library experience.

What’s new?

• Integrated website and catalogue
  The catalogue is now seamlessly integrated with the rest of our content. Our catalogue content can still be found easily under ‘Explore’ (Books, eBooks, Movies, Music) or using the Search tool. We hope this interconnectedness helps you discover lots more useful and interesting information. For more information on searching see the Search FAQs.
• The design
  Our new site has an updated layout and design. It has been optimised to be viewed on multiple devices so you can use it on a tablet, smart phone, or your computer at home, to access our content and online services.
• Navigation
  A fresh new navigation scheme aims to make it easier for you to find your way around our site, and explore our content and services.
• Home page
  Our new homepage offers a clean, visually appealing doorway to Christchurch City Libraries. We aim to highlight services, collections and events on a page that encourages discovery and browsing.
• Locations
  Click on the button in the top right and find your library. We can even tell you what library is closest to your current location if you are out and about. Each library location can tell you its hours, local events, latest books on offer and any news related to that library.
• Get social
  Get involved by commenting on our blogs, sharing content with your friends and followers and giving reviews on books you have read.
