Christchurch Photo Hunt

Christchurch City Libraries has run a Photo Hunt since 2008. This year’s theme was Plains, Port Hills & Peninsula – Finding our way. Entries opened on Sunday 1 October and closed on Tuesday 31 October 2017. Winners in each category will be announced on 1 December.

Christchurch City Libraries' Photo Hunt is part of Beca Heritage Week, which took place from 13 to 23 October 2017 in Christchurch and Banks Peninsula.

The winners were announced on Friday 1 December 2017.

We invited people to enter images of people and places that capture a moment from Canterbury's past, whether it's a building or favourite haunt, a family outing, or much loved vista.

We share the images on Kete Christchurch with a Creative Commons License Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 New Zealand  (CC BY-NC-ND 3.0 NZ).

The Photo Hunt has closed for 2017.
