Fendalton Library reopened Monday 18 November after refurbishment
Fendalton Library has reopened today after its refurbishment. Fendalton Library is trialling going EFTPOS only, and Fendalton Library's back carpark won't be available to be used until 9 December.

Fendalton Library is trialling having only EFTPOS available for paying for library transactions (photocopying, fines etc) from Monday 18 November. The trial runs until Friday 28 February 2025.

Location confirmed for pop-up South Library
Christchurch City Libraries is partnering with The Colombo shopping centre to create a new pop-up library in early 2025. The pop-up will serve as a temporary replacement for the soon-to-be-rebuilt South Library building.
