Pop up library at Riverside

Come along and visit our mini library experience on the mezzanine floor at Riverside Market.

Take some time out with your tamariki.

Relax and read some stories, browse a magazine, do some colouring in and play dress ups.

Stories in the Sun

Come along to this outdoor session aimed at kids up to 12 years. We'll listen to stories and rhymes, and talk with our special guests about what their job is.

Summertime Stories Poolside

Come and join us at your favourite water spot for Summertime Stories poolside.

Lots of giveaways and fun for the whole family.

FAQ

Who can enter?
Summertime Reading is open for ages up to 18 years.

What if you have parents who work for Christchurch City Council?
That is fine, the children of Council employees can still enter the competition.

Do I need to have a library card?
No. You do not need to be a member of Christchurch City Libraries to be eligible to enter.

Where can I get a postcard entry form?
You can pick up an entry form from any Christchurch City Library or participating school, download a copy or simply fill in the online entry form to be in the draw!

How do I enter for the prize draw?
Once you have completed the entry form – take it in to any Christchurch City Library or participating school and hand to a staff member to be in the draw to win.

How many entries in the prize draw am I allowed?
You may enter as many times as you like

What are the prizes?
The prizes include electronics, vouchers and more!
