Canterbury Stories is our place for collecting and presenting online collections from our digitised archives, publications, photographs and community. Canterbury Stories includes material from Photo Hunts, exhibitions on Christchurch places and themes, sets of images, as well as a growing collection of archive and published material.
The Discovery Wall showcases images and videos curated from the Christchurch City Libraries Digital Heritage collection, you can visit the wall at Tūranga or the Mobile Discovery Wall when it visits your local library or you can search or browse the images on our Discovery Wall website. You can contribute to the Discovery Wall by uploading images or videos.
Improves awareness and provides perspective on global issues, while tying together a wealth of authoritative content: empowering learners to critically analyse and understand the most important issues of the modern world.
Content is from over 800 geographically diverse newspapers, magazines, and journals, covering subjects such as business and economics, conflict and diplomacy, society and culture, environment and climate change, and more.

Perspectives on major contentious social, political, and technological issues, from capital punishment to immigration to marijuana. This cross-curricular research database supports science, social studies, current events, and language arts classes. Informed, differing views help learners develop critical-thinking skills and draw their own conclusions.
With over 20,000 pro/con viewpoints, approximately 19,000 reference articles, interactive maps, infographics, and more, students will be prepared to argue any side of the issue.
