A Cameo 4 cutter contains a very sharp blade that is controlled by a computer. The blade can move precisely to cut shapes out of materials such as paper, card, adhesive vinyl, heat transfer vinyl, sticker paper, or sublimation paper / invisible ink paper.

A craft cutter is available at Matatiki Hornby Centre (opening Friday 19 April 3pm), New Brighton, South, Te Hāpua: Halswell Centre, and Tūranga. You can use the craft cutter at Creative Times in those libraries.

Maximum material dimensions: When designing graphics for the Cameo cutter, keep in mind that it can only cut to a maximum width of 300mm. For vinyl which comes in rolls, the maximum width of 300mm still applies but longer graphics can be cut in one job (1m for best results).
Material depth is a maximum of 3mm if a 3mm Kraft blade is available to use.
Cameo cutter can also cut a variety of other materials but they will need to be provided.
File types include JPG, PNG, BMP, DXF, .studio, and .studio3.
