Better Digital Futures Computer Programmes for ages 65+
Better Digital Futures is a programme that CCL runs in collaboration with Stepping Up NZ, and it supports over 65s to learn new skills and build confidence in using computers, smartphones, tablets, and the internet. Run as 4 separate pathways, each programme runs for 2 hours over 4 weekly sessions.

Tūranga Studio Starters: Music Production #1
This 3-week programme will teach you how to record, edit and create sounds using MIDI.
This programme is intended for those with little or no previous music production experience.

Following on from Turanga Studio Starters: Music Production #1. This 3-week programme will cover MIDI editing, recording various instruments, audio mixing and equalisation at an intermediate level.

Tūranga Studio Starters: Music Production #3
Do you need to take the next step in music production and editing?
In his 3-week programme we will record a guitar and singer live, discuss different microphone techniques and edit the recording using equalisation, compression and reverb into a fully finished product.

Open Studio at Tūranga
Tūranga has an audio and video studio! This is a chance for anyone to come in and discover more about audio and video production. No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm. These sessions are geared towards interested adults of all ages.
Children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.

GenConnect - Drop-in
Questions about your iPad, Smart Phone or Tablet? Want to know how to use Skype, Facebook, or share your photos with family or friends? Unsure what an app is and what are the best ones to use? Come along to a free GenConnect session, where friendly high school students will be on hand to help with all of your technology questions! Not held during school holidays.

Sessions for Youth
YA Creative Time - FREE, drop-in sessions
Get creative with the awesome new equipment on Auahatanga, the fourth floor of Tūranga. Fridays are your time to drop in and use a variety of technologies for making your ideas a reality, including sewing machines, 3D printers, craft and vinyl cutters, design software, and electronics. No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm, imagination, and a desire to be creative. Specialist staff will be on hand if you need help. This is your chance to hang out with other creative youth, learn from and support each other, and make really cool stuff. Ages: 13 years plus

YA Studio Time - FREE, drop-in sessions
Come on in and have a go in our audio and video studio! No experience necessary. This is your opportunity to hang out in the studio, ask our specialist staff questions and meet like-minded new friends. Ages: 13 years plus

2022 Bookings and Payment
We use an online booking platform for all of our bookable programmes. Payment via debit or credit card is required at the time of booking. Paid programmes incur a booking fee. The entire fee is passed on to charity, find out more about the impact this has on our community. Refunds are available for cancellations made 48 hours prior to the programme starting.
Waitlist
There is a limited waitlist available for most programmes. To check if waitlist places are still available, click on the programme's "Book online" link.
Consent Form
We require a consent form to be completed for every child attending our programmes. A link can be found at the time of purchase in ticketing information and will also be sent via the confirmation email. (Please note: we only require one form per child, per calendar year)
