Imagination Station manages the LEGO play area in Family Space, Hapori | Community, Level 1, Tūranga.
Imagination Station is an independent charity which operates from Tūranga. They have a building area which is available whenever the library is open and has LEGO, Technic, and also DUPLO for younger children.
Imagination Station encourages visitors to make a gold coin koha (donation) each time they come and play, to make sure that the charity can keep the space accessible to all.
Holiday activities with Imagination Station
During the school holidays, Imagination Station offers a range of LEGO Education classes, including Mindstorms Robotics, LEGO Technic design, Movie making with LEGO, as well as their famous Holiday Brick School programme. These classes take place in various spaces around Tūranga, however are usually based on Auahatanga | Creativity, Level 4.

Imagination Station also offers birthday parties during weekends, and run a regular after school programme on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until 5.30pm.
