The Financial Times and Schroders Book of the Year Award recognises books that provide the most compelling and enjoyable insights into modern business issues
. The winner receives a £30,000 prize, while runners-up are awarded £10,000 each.
From its inception in 2005 to 2013, the prize was known as the "Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year Award", from 2014 to 2021 it was the "Financial Times and McKinsey Business Book of the Year Award"
The shortlist was announced on 18 September 2024. The winner will be announced on 9 December 2023.
