Stories to go bags have contents including a variety of fiction and non-fiction books, a DVD, a music or story CD, and a toy or puzzle.
They are classified by age, so it is easy to choose the right bag for your child. They are aimed at ages:
- 3-4
- 5–7
- 8–10
- 11–12
Why Stories to go?
- You need some ideas to distract your child
- You have come to the library without your children and are not sure what to pick for them
- You want a bundle of books and activities to take away on holiday
This collection is available at all libraries except Akaroa, Diamond Harbour, Little River, Lyttelton, Spreydon and the Mobile. The bags are free for children and adults to borrow, and are issued for four weeks.
