Heathcote contingent at Peace Procession. Photograph was taken in Cathedral Square, looking along Colombo Street North. To the right is the Colonial Mutual Life building, at was what was then known as Broadway's Corner. The event was the children's procession on the morning of Monday, 21st of July, 1919 (the peace celebrations did not take place in 1918 because of the flu epidemic). Christchurch City Libraries, CCL-Gimblett-041, opens a new window
