The competition closed Friday 18 January 2012.
1st place: Angus
New Brighton
2nd place: Hannah
Hannah is reading Daisy and the trouble with Christmas. Hannah is reading by the Cashmere stream which runs behind our house. It is very peaceful away from her brother and sister.
3rd place: Amelia
Amelia is reading Girl vs world: waiting for it to warm up in the high country. She loves to read, and read 10 books when she was away for three nights.
Highly commended: Arlia
Arlia reads The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in the back yard.
Highly commended: Katie
Annabel reads Ballet Shoes on day trip, French Farm Bay, Banks Peninsula.
Highly commended: Emma
I love reading, and I love playing on my trapeze bar. Doing them together is really cool. I am reading Tony Robinson’s Weird World of Wonders: British. It’s really interesting and funny.
Emma is on the left, and the fast-moving blur on the right is her brother James on his swing.
