Do you remember the Dinosaurs on Hays roof?
When did the Durham Street overbridge open?
How did we get new buses in the 1950s?
What kind of parades used to go through town?
Explore these recently added images and over 10,000 others to spark your memories through the Discovery Wall.
The Discovery Wall launched nearly a year ago with 5,000 accessible images. Through continuing to digitise our physical heritage collection and public submissions this has increased to over 10,000 images. That is over 5,000 new images and stories made accessible to everyone in less than a year!
Did you contribute an image to the first 10,000? Or will you contribute one to get us to the next 10,000? You can contribute your own images and stories at any time through the Discovery Wall, or add your memories and comments to the images already there. You can share any of the amazing images through facebook, twitter or pinterest.
If you contribute images during the month of October, you could also enter the Photo Hunt 2019 competition. This year we are celebrating 10 years of public contributions through our annual Photo Hunts. The theme for this year is 'Encountering our Stories' and there are prizes to be won!
