Located on Hapori | Community, Level 1, Tūranga Youth Space is perfect for whatever you feel like doing, from hanging out on the comfy seating, playing foosball, or challenging each other with one of our videogames including PlayStations. Have a go with a Virtual Reality headset or try challenging your friends with our board and card games.
If you’re after something to read join our Teen Book Club, ask a Youth Librarian for some recommendations or browse our collection. Grab one of our NCEA study guides and do some exam preparation at our study table – if you’re feeling stressed, get our staff to give you a hand.
Gaming
Videogames, VR and more! Tūranga is kitted out with PS4 (PlayStation) consoles and a giant screen. Come and enjoy solid classics such as Banjo & Kazooie and Minecraft, become an eagle and fly across cities in Eagle Flight VR, or just come and watch someone on the giant screen.
For a more analogue approach try one of our many board games, which range in skill and difficulty from Dixit (great for age 6+) to more tricky games such as Catan, Codenames and Pandemic.
